Defense & Interdiction Tactics 4 Hours
This module develops the fundamentals of Security Officer Defensive Tactics including: tactical positioning, mobility, proactive and reactive responses, and physical skills necessary to control and restrain aggressive individuals. Training will also be conducted in 3rd party interdiction tactics; how to safely and effectively intercede in and control a fight or situation in-progress.
Impact & Edged Weapon Defense 4 Hours
This module introduces the fundamentals weapon defense strategies. Utilizing techniques gained during the first two modules of instruction, participants learn to engage, disarm, and neutralize an attacker wielding an impact weapon or edged weapon.
Gun Disarming 4 Hours
This course teaches the fundamentals of disarming handguns & long guns in either 1st party or 3rd party scenarios.
Handling Multiple Aggressors 4 Hours
This course is a culmination of the skills developed throughout the first two modules of instruction. An understanding of your own advantages and your opponent's disadvantages, combined with techniques honed throughout the previous courses, and overlaid with the Multiple Opponent strategy provide realistic alternatives in these critical, yet common situations.
